SkillsUSA is America’s proud champion of the skilled trades. We’re a student-led partnership of education and industry that’s building the future skilled workforce our nation depends on with graduates who are career ready, day one.

Representing nearly 400,000 career and technical education students and teachers, SkillsUSA chapters thrive in middle schools, high schools and college/post secondary institutions nationwide. Our mission is accomplished through the SkillsUSA Framework of Personal Skills, Workplace Skills and Technical Skills Grounded in Academics, which is integrated into classroom curriculum.

Health Occupations Students of America

HOSA is a professional student organization and a powerful instructional tool that is integrated into the health sciences curriculum and classroom.

HOSA's two-fold mission is:

to promote career opportunities in the health care industry, and
to enhance the delivery of quality health care to all people.

Alabama’s Joint Leadership Development Conference is the largest non-athletic joint gathering of students in the South Eastern United States for an educational purpose.

The goal of JLDC is to build Alabama’s College+Career-Ready workforce with:

employability skills,
leadership training,
exposure to Alabama’s career opportunities, and
increased knowledge of CTE+CTSO opportunities.

DISTRIBUTIVE EDUCATION CLUBS OF AMERICA (DECA)

DECA prepares emrging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe.

FCCLA

Alabama Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) is an organization for students interested in Family and Consumer Sciences (FACS) careers.

Involvement in FCCLA offers high school students great opportunities to develop:

professional communication,
problem-solving, and
leadership skills.

FBLA-PBL

Alabama FBLA-PBL inspires students to become community minded business leaders.

Students in FBLA-PBL develop essential work skills by:

holding top organizational positions at the local, state, and national level;
by networking with accomplished business professionals nationwide; and
by participating in business-focused workshops, seminars, and academic competitions.

Many FBLA-PBL student members go-on to become top IT innovators, marketing professionals, CEOs, and business owners.

FFA is a dynamic youth organization that changes lives and prepares members for:

personal growth, and
